I don’t know about you, but battling against fears can be quite wearisome. I would like to kick-start 2012 with a coaching comment that might help to strengthen you and your family as you face the ‘normal’ fears of life. Fears are from satan. Fears are intended to intimate and weaken us in our walk with the Lord … causing us to turn back , stop, and give-up in our spiritual journey.
“Driving out the fears of life” – Psalm 112
V1: Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord. Yes, happy are those who delight in doing what He commands.
V2: Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.
V3: They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will never be forgotten.
V4: When darkness overtakes the godly, light will come bursting in. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.
V5: All goes well for those who are generous, who lend freely and conduct their business fairly.
V6: Such people will not be overcome by evil circumstances. Those who are righteous will be long remembered.
V7: They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.
V8: They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.
V9: They give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will never be forgotten. They will have influence and honour.
V10. The wicked will be infuriated when they see this. They will grind their teeth with anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.
Friends, we can overcome:
- Family fears (v2)
- Financial fears (v3)
- Darkness fears (v4)
- Future/change fears (v6)
- Bad news fears (v7), and
- Enemy fears (v8)
With the Lord’s help, we can drive out each and every fear that we encounter in 2012.
Sincerely Sir Bill, Fear is one of the greatest enemy so far, but parise be to the Lord of Lords and King of Kings who is always by my side in such a situation. Hallelujah, Praise the LORD God the Father, Whom by His an conditional LOVE, save us from our sins through His one and only Son Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ said; I am leaving you with a gift peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give you isn’t like the peace the world gives. So donn’t be troubled or AFRAID. John 14:27. Praise the LORD.
When we are tempted by the enemy which may involve worry and fear, there is only one way out from it, we will only replace it by coming before God the Father through prayers. The bible said in Isaiah: Don’t be afraid, because I have saved you. I have called you by name, and you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you cross rivers, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burn because I, the LORD, am your God. Issaiah 43:1-3
