Nigeria

CCI’s African Associate and Field Director, Pastor Elijah Samuel, pastors a church in Lagos, Nigeria.  In addition to having a vision for his own church to grow in spiritual health and maturity through the Small Groups Church Development Plan, Elijah and his senior pastor (Pastor Kola, based in Ibadan) have a shared vision of reaching out both locally in Nigeria and throughout the continent of Africa – making and claiming a promise of “Africa for the Kingdom”.

Pastor Elijah’s church in the New Oko-Oba area of Lagos is a branch of the Dominion Impact Church which has its base in Ibadan.  We are delighted with the support that our new relationship is getting from the Senior Pastor, Kolawole Emiola (Kola), and their church board for the work that we are planning to do in and through this growing relationship.

Dominion Impact Church has an excellent reputation with a number of Western international ministries, who have and continue to work alongside DIC as they grow and reach out to their communities.  CCI is so thankful for this opportunity to serve with such a well respected and established church.

In the past few years Dominion Impact Church has seen great fruit from their outreach, community care and ‘back to school’ iniatives, and with CCI’s help we hope to continue these ministries as well as conduct a range of church development and christian leadership training programmes in Lagos, Ibadan and elsewhere in Nigeria and throughout Africa.

As our plans become firm and we more clearly identify the Kingdom-building opportunities in these communities, we will be updating the website – so please bookmark the CCI site so you can easily come back and see what progress we are making.
