Destiny Kids all set for VBS 2012

Destiny Kids International (DKI) is passionate about reaching-out to refugee kids in Cairo. Fredrick Omoh-John and his team are all set to launch their Vacation Bible School (VBS) in Cairo on 10 June thanks to the generosity of the congregation of Christ Church Jebel Ali in Dubai, UAE, part of the Chaplaincy of Dubai and Sharjah with the Northern Emirates.

Fredrick is so thankful for this wonderful answer to pray, for God’s unfailing provision and for the investment that Christ Church has entrusted into DKI he has offered this expression of thanks …

Dear friends,

Words are not enough to express our deep thanks to the whole congregation of this wonderful family of Christ Church Jebel Ali and the Chaplaincy of Dubai and Sharjah for their gift to support the work of DKI among the refugee communities in and around Cairo.

With this gift we are now able to run the DKI Vacation Bible School as planned, which is coming up on the 10-13 of this month (June). The theme of this year’s VBS is … “It’s All About Praising God”.  The generosity of our brothers and sisters at Christ Church Jebel Ali means that we are now able to pay for the facility, buying of materials, providing of food and also transporting 75 teenagers and 10 leaders to the VBS venue.

Please continue to pray for us as we take up this great adventure with the youngsters of Destiny Kids. We will be updating you on what God is doing in, with and through us all with a lot of pictures.

Once again, may Almighty God bless you all.

Destiny Kids  love you all

Fredrick Omoh-John
